Amavo: media monitoring with a daily brief
Amavo is a media monitoring service that reads news sites, X, Reddit, YouTube, blogs and social networks for mentions of an organization, scores each mention's sentiment, and writes a short daily brief on what changed, with the evidence linked.
- Sources read on every plan: X, Reddit, YouTube, blogs, the open web and Kenyan newsrooms (Nation, The Standard, The Star, Citizen Digital, Capital FM, Kenyans.co.ke, Tuko).
- Facebook, Instagram and TikTok are included on some plans and sold as per-brand add-ons on others.
- Each mention is scored positive, neutral or negative. The dashboard opens with one plain sentence on what changed, then the spikes, their causes and the original posts.
- Reports can be shared as a link, a full PDF or a one-page summary. Professional reports carry the customer's own logo and colours.
- The dashboard, reports and exports count from the same engine, so their numbers match.
- If a source cannot be reached, the report says so instead of showing zero.
- Free trial: 7 days, 1 brand, 250 analyzed mentions, no card needed.
- Prices are in Kenyan shillings. Payment is by M-Pesa or card (Visa, Mastercard) through Paystack. Each payment covers 30 days and nothing renews automatically.
